Design Process

  • Writing down rough ideas of what my level will be about in my notes help me form a clear LDD and gives me an idea on the layout of my level

  • Having a top down layout of how the level will look and play helps give an idea on how the narrative and encounters could work together.

  • heavy playtesting and feedback is a crucial part to be able to make memorable and unique levels

  • this design process allows me to make the overall narrative, environment and tone blend together without one over shadowing another.
